Check out my German + American Voice Over Samples on Soundcloud

June 2020

Hi there! It's been pretty quiet on my acting website as I focused more on YouTube last year as well as my other passion: empowering people - especially women - to step into their power and realize their dreams via transformational breathwork.

But what I've also been doing was VOICE OVER! Very quiet from my home studio :-) So after noticing that I don't have any samples on this website, I decided to change this. Now.

If you would like to hear my voice work in German or American English, you can check out my samples on Soundcloud. My voice is warm, friendly, smooth with a bit of spunk and energy. I love voice acting and I think you can feel that in my work.

Feel free to reach out via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., if you would like to book me for your next Voice over project, whatever that might be: narration for youtube video, IG and facebook ads, e-learn, explainers, video games, teasers, radio or TV ads, commercials, promos, character.

I'm looking forward to lending my voice to your next project!

November 2018

Dash Radio, the largest all radio platform in the world, interviewed me about my new exciting endeavors as an actress, life coach and content creator. My very first radio interview. Exciting! Lenny and Jake from EL LA were the best hosts to make me feel very welcomed. We had a lot of laughs and one serious moment while talking about superpowers, manifesting men and beautiful places in Asia. Check it out here or search my name on spotify.

Sexbomb & Superwoman SERIES in working process

Sexbomb & Superwoman SERIES in working process

August 2018

And we did it! Paulina Simkin, a dear friend and acting colleague of mine, and I created a fun, empowering and life transformative Youtube series in NYC. Even though we only had a little idea in mind of what we wanted to do, we started with shooting hilarious videos around the city in wonderwoman and sexbomb costumes. Later on I gave her tools in front of the camera on "how to manifest her dream guy" which she immediately applied for her online dates. Of course, she reported back her progress and success in front of the camera. Now it's time to edit all the material. Stay tuned - it's gonna be epic!

VOICE OVER for animated TV Show TAYO continues

July 2018

Only a few days after I returned from my trip to SE Asia I was back in the recording studio for TAYO THE LITTLE BUS. I couldn't be happier about giving Hana, the bus mechanic, my voice again! The team is amazing and we're having a lot of fun in the studio. And besides dubbing Hana, I'm gathering experience in doing voices for numerous other animated characters like little kids and crying babies, dogs and cats, old people, scared opera singers and mean aliens. I love it!

CANNES Film Festival

CANNES Film Festival

May 2017

After 3 years not being able to, I finally did it again - attending my favourite film event - the Cannes Film Festival. Apart from enjoying the red carpet screenings of YOU WERE NEVER REALLY HERE by Lynne Ramsay, IN THE FADE by Fatih Akin, GOOD TIMES by the Safdie Brothers and L'AMANT DOUBLE by François Ozon, I've met some great people from all over the world (Netherlands, Mexico, Australia, Russia) and got inspired by there passion and ambition. The most important thing what I learned was "don't stress yourself with meticulous schedule planning and go with the flow". This advice is mostly for actors. Pick one event to start with and let it go from there. You always run into people you've never expected to meet or get to know. Here's one of numerous coincidents: At a screening event I ran into a crew member of the thriller short film FAITHFUL I had shot in LA just a week before Cannes. Next to her was sitting a producer from NYC I met at the Tribeca FF this year, on the other side was sitting a showrunner I know from LA and behind her was my acting friend from France saving a seat for me.

And sometimes it's really worth it to fight against traffic and public transportation breakdowns to make it to the Callback even though you're faaar too late. I booked the role! It's the lead role in this amazing thriller short film FAITHFUL which is directed by Niklas Berggren, a talented Swedish film maker. Smart script, unexpected turn-arounds and emotional depth - sounds like a great project, right?! Check out the teaser. More info to come.

That's what I was waiting for - playing a tough role with vulnerable cracks. Maxwell Morro and his amazing team made it possible! Shooting my own short IN TOUCH

March 2017

Exiciting news! I just finished shooting my second short which I wrote, produced and starred in. But hey, the people I've met so far in LA made it very easy. It took me only 2 weeks to get it all organized. Big thank you to the amazing team Josua Fischer, Nadine Kübler and Luca Nicora. And a call to other actors - stop waiting and start creating your own films.

Oscar Viewing Party of TONI ERDMANN with cast and crew

Oscar Viewing Party of TONI ERDMANN with cast and crew

February 2017

I can't believe that this happened... As a newcomer in the film industry and only one month in LA I received an invitation to the official Oscar Viewing Party of the German film TONI ERDMANN nominated for Best Foreign Language Film. Cast and crew as well as the German press was there at this spectacular location which allowed a phenomenal view over the city. Meeting Sandra Hüller - lead actress of the film and one of my German acting idols - as well as the writer and director Maren Ade was my highlight of the event. And who needs to win an oscar to prove that it's still an exceptional piece of art and a mustsee?! Have a look at the trailer of TONI ERDMANN

And booked! My first commercial since I moved to LA this January. I had the pleasure to shoot for Inhance Digital in front of a green screen. The final product will be me as an avatar on a computer screen for people to click on me for further information - funny, right?! I can't wait to see and click. Let's keep those awesome jobs in LA coming!

Move from EAST to WEST COAST and being international anyway

January 2017

The new year starts with exciting news: I'm moving to Los Angeles. New York City has taught me a lot about the craft and finding my heart in it, and it's still one of my favourite cities in the world, no doubt, but after having spent last summer in LA it feels like the right thing to do. Getting cast in 4 short films, a commercial and a theater play in only three weeks was unbelievably exciting - I didn't see that coming at all. Plus the amazing open-minded people I've met, the healthy and conscious lifestyle I started here and - of course - the good weather which also had a huge impact on my acting skills - sounds weird, but it's true- and not to forget the fun Uber rides with the most inspiring life stories. How could I not have chosen LA after this experience?! So here I am, equipped with an updated work permit and ready for a new adventure.

THEATRE IS EASY Review

THEATRE IS EASY Review

June 2014

We got a first review from Theatre is Easy for our play 97 ORCHARD ST which was part of the project AROUND THE BLOCK:

"Melody Erfani's play 97 Orchard St, created with writers Laura Jo Hess and Alexander Koo, and composer J.P. Makowski, imagines the history of cultural change in the Lower East Side as a sort of balletic musical chairs. Erfani's direction of the piece focuses on what this type of change might look like rather than trying to explain by using the common discourse. It's most effective because it transcends the noise that is heard daily on blogs and newspapers about neighborhoods being culturally destroyed. 97 Orchard Street is now better known as the address of the Lower East Side Tenement Museum." Theatre is Easy by Jason Rost
